It's Okay

Eduardo shoved the door open, knocking it off its hinges and slamming it into the second-floor railing.
His family was surrounded, he could smell the sickness on them "RODRIGO!" he shouted, watching the second eldest son attempt to defend his siblings. "Eddy!" the pups screamed, scrambling away from the moving corpses. The houndoom looked back inside his home and rushed in, grabbing his blades. "I'M GOING JUST STAY OUT OF THEIR REA-" A scream penetrated the air. He snared loudly and threw himself off the second-floor, tacking a living dead and cleanly slicing its head off, throwing himself off and lunging at the next one.blood spattered everywhere, painting the streets, the walls, the sky everything
red. Re. RED. REDREDRED.

the world became quiet. 
Eduardo looked down at the mangled bodies of his little brothers and sisters. where were his parents? what happened?
"...Eddy?" a feeble voice called out. Eduardo looked up and scooped the little poochyena up into his arms.
"...Bwother.... I'm scawred Eddy..."
"shhh, its okay, esta bien. I'm here." he whispered. "I'm here now..."
